Christmas Countdown

Good Evening.

It may be October, but it won't be long until Christmas is here. So I have made a start on my Christmas cards !

I have used the Christmas Cuties stamp set from Hunkydory

I adore these stamps. They are so versatile.

I cut a black card base to 6 1/2 "x 5 1/4 "

I matted this with a piece of white card measuring  6 1/4" x 5"

I cut a  piece of  Make it Colour card - Measuring 6" x 5 3/4"

To make the picture I stamped the Eskimo, and the small polar bear with Grey flannel Memento ink.

I then stamped the again on to a sticky note, to create a mask.

After masking of the Eskimo and small polar bear, I stamped the igloo, and Large polar bear in the same ink.

To create the background. I created a mask for all the images, and cut a circle out of a sticky note, to create the moon.

I then used Stormy sky, and dusty concord distress inks to create the sky.

The images were coloured with ShinHan Touch Twin Brush Markers

Polar Bear & Moon - YR142, YR133 AND YR132

Igloo - PB 185, YR142

Blue - PB72, PB74, &PB76

Purple - P81 & P82

Skin - BR103, BR107, YR133 & YR132

Hair - BR98

Ground - PB185 YR142, YR133, YR132 AND PB77

I also use Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen to add some sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment with Versa Mark clear ink pad, and embossed it with WOW opaque white embossing powder.

I hope you like my project
